Lookbook | Outfit during Christmas holiday trip 2016 (featuring sneakers)

Hii! Today I'm going to be sharing with you how I styled my outfit during my short vacay. A lot of you guys would probably favour travelling to countries that are in the winter season now, but since it's a budget travel for me this year (and for most of the years actually), my outfits are actually more suitable to be worn in warmer countries because I travelled to KL this year. Although the clothes are not suitable to be worn in counties that are experiencing the winter season now, they actually look quite winter-season-inspired considering that the colour are mostly nudes, black and white and kind of toned down.
Just to make it clear, these are the sneakers that I paired each and every of my outfit with. I feel like I should mention this beforehand so that you guys don't have to hear me repeat in the description for the 3 outfits because YOU WILL BE BORED TO DEATH.

For my 1st outfit, I paired a flimsy basic white top with a V neck + a pair of leather textured shorts. I think these two are the perfect combination and you can wear them anytime, anywhere. They are very basic, chic and comfortable. The top is flimsy and made of a very breathable fabric, which is a plus when you go to crowded places like flea market and especially comfortable when you the temparature is humid or when you are having a day where there are no air conditioners. Since the whole outfit is pretty lowkey, I wore a few dangling pieces hanging from my neck. I actually felt okay to over-accesorise for once. I quite like how the accessories spice up the whole outfit.

(as you can see from the photos, my hair isn't in its best condition)

My 2nd outfit is the combination of a black long sleeves top with golden buckles + a light brown a-line skirt with buttons down. This outfit can be a little stuffy on humid days but it is absolutely perfect for cafe-hopping or shopping because they have air-conditions to make the interior airy and cool. The thing I like about the black top is the furry texture and also the golden buckles on the sleeve. And the little cut-out as well! I paired them up because the golden buckles has same colour with the golden buttons on the A-line skirt and the texture of both pieces just goes so well together. I also wore a golden necklace with an 'O' pendant just to add a finishing feminine touch to the whole outfit (I actually borrowed the necklace from Meow Lover, so shout out to her!)

For the 3rd outfit, I am going to feature Wei as well because, let's be honest, her outfit looks awesome on her, doesn't it?

I paired an off shoulder wash-out grey top with bell sleeves + a pair of frayed washout jeans shorts. Honestly, I didn't think that an off shoulder would look flattering on me because I am quite fleshy but I tried it on in the fitting room and I quite like it (it's nowhere near flattering but.. at least not as bad as I thought it would) This outfit has a subtle rebellious vibe, at the same time it's quite cool as well because the colours are washout. To me, I think it's all about what you accessorise this outfit with. At the top part, I have two necklaces hanging around my neck - one is in gold and another is with silver. Both are of the same length, but they have different pendants. They look surprisingly good together when paired with this outfit. Surprise, surprise!

Wei paired a dark green blouse + a pair of black flowy shorts. I really love this combination as it is elegant and comfortable to wear during a trip. This look is quite plain, but the flowers made of sequins at the border of the neck lining just make this look works. Magic

These are just some of the outfits that I have paired up with no reference of professional outfit pairing advice or whatsoever, they are entirely just my personal opinion and me rambling through with you guys HAHA I hope you enjoyed reading and hopefully you'll get some inspirations for your outfit for this coming Christmas holiday! Travelling to any places around Christmas? Would love to know where you guys are heading to!

That's all for this post. Thank you for reading!
