We were having our last practice session before the International Arts Festival at Genting Highlands when my friends jio (Hokkien sland: invited/asked) me to go for bowling at Sunshine on Monday, which is a day before we depart to Genting Highlands. Another one of my friends wanted to watch Catching Fire at QB and I was more of on his side because Catching Fire is a critically acclaimed movie that no one could deny its greatness. In the end, all the people on the "bowling team" had decided to catch that amazing fire show in the theater with us. Hehehe.. *our evil plan in persuading them had finally succeeded* MUAHAHAHA..
That night, I had decided to ask Khalid to hang out with me as well because he had always been asking me when I am able to hang out or asking me am I free or not in this holiday and I always had to reject his invitation because for some reasons -.-'' To patch things up, I had decided to make the 1st move this time. Luckily he was good enough to agree to meet up with me. Hah.. I also jio Jing Yi out because at 1st I wanna watch Catching Fire with my family so I figured Jing Yi could accompany me to shop while the others are enjoying their movie. And she was also being courteous enough to accept my invitation.
So we took the 10:30am bus from our hometown and headed gleefully to the town. We were discussing on topics like "who do u think will be the 1st who will get married among us?" and blah blah blah shit stuffs xD I love to talk shitie stuffs cuz usually they're interesting o_o And we also talked about ways we express our anger and tension. Okay.. I'm gonna tell u mine here. Okay guys, I'm being honest here... so don't hate me if I'm over aggresive or smtg :P 1st, I will shop till I drop. I shop all the time no matter I am angry or desperate or happy, but I shop EXTRA when I'm insecure. Ok, lemmi give u a real example. Last year, when the PMR result was not out yet, I shopped until I drop every time I go to the mall cuz I feel guilty for not excelling well in my PMR. I don't know what's the connection between feeling insecure and shopping, but I just do that all the time. Finally, when the result came out and I got the result that I aimed for, I started to feel guilty again for buying too many stuffs. So, I eat .__. And I get fat. And I complaint. And I start to feel insecure again so I shop. LOL. I'm a girl who's hard to be fulfilled :/ Not good. Not good at all.
As soon as we reached QB, the 1st thing that we did is rushing up to the top floor and started queuing to buy movie tickets. We actually decided to buy the movie tickets for 2:30pm but the receptionist ended up giving us the 12:20pm tickets instead. And to add fuel to the fire, IT WAS ALREADY 12pm++ at that moment 0.0! What we did next was - we rushed down to lower ground to buy fast food from Mc Donalds and put em' into our bags. We were actually smuggling food into the theater .__.
And another bad thing is that - I had only informed Khalid to get to QB at about 12:10pm *guilty* All of them went up to the cinema while I waited for Khalid at The Coffee Beans together with Jing Yi (P.S. > The Coffee Beans was our rendezvous that we had secretly made an agreement on the day before) Tee hee... The movie started at 12:20pm but Khalid turned up at 12:50pm, and it was not a bit his fault. Jing Yi (with French fries in her bag that she kept complaining about its overwhelming smell), Khalid and I quickly dash up to the cinema. In the theater, I sat in between Jing Yi and Khalid. Other of my friends sat in the front row.
My conversation with Khalid as soon as we had settled down.
Me: "Have you eaten your lunch edi?" (munching my Filet O' Fish)
Khalid: "Oh lunch. Yes"
*gestures to Jing Yi to get me my packet of fries*
Me: "Here. Have it."
Khalid: "Oh.. Thanks."
Catching Fire was a good movie, I am telling u guys. Believe me or not, it is! When the movie had ended, we went separate ways with Yee Hang and the others. We embarked on our journey ourselves. We were brave young warriors: Jing Yi, Khalid & me .__. 1st, we went to Forever 21 to get a couple of female (not sure to use girl/lady/woman) accessories for Jing Yi and me. Khalid had to stroll along with us which was a bit awkward considering he's my long-time-haven't-meet-up friend and I should've treated him with a big feast or smtg. Instead of doing that, I dragged him along into Forever 21 and he had to compromise with us so that he won't get beaten up by us xD
After our shopping spree, we just linger around QB aimlessly like fades who doesn't belong to anywhere on the Earth. Then, Khalid said something that blew my mind off (exaggerating).
Khalid: "So.. Have you guys eaten yet?"
Me: "Yeah.. I mean.. no. I mean u told me have eaten right? o_o"
Khalid: "Uh.. Actually, I hadn't. Sorry, I was confused with your question. I thought it was the fries you were asking me."
Me: "Oh dear, I hate u Khalid. You lied to me! .. Ok, let's go and grab some food. You decide where we should eat and we'll go."
Khalid: "Is Dave's Deli okay with u guys?"
Me: "No prob. Let's go."
We got our tummies filled at Dave's Deli. I kept encouraging Jing Yi to talk and mingle with Khalid but she just kept saying that her English is bad.. It doesn't really matters actually. As long as you talk! Nothing is more important than talking for me. Even though my English is not that good, I just talk. LOL. Talking is my daily medicine :P I just kept talking to Khalid and recalling all the good memories of KIZUNA and sharing our lives with each other and more talks about AFS stuffs.
Then, we went to Popular. I've bought two books there that cost me RM53. The 1st book is Save Haven by Nicholas Sparks. The 2nd book is How to Think Quick Under Pressure (I actually bought this book to polish up my debating skills but later on found out that it was a book about life goal and stuffs like that. LOL) After I made my payment, we went to Brands Outlet and I'm feeling sorry to Khalid again because I had to abandon him for a short while ><
Later on, we just kept strolling aimless again and just looking out for cool stuffs in the stores. I figured I'd get something for my friends on their birthday so we went to Materials. Materials is the only place where I can find cool stuffs to get for my friends. They've got a lot of DIY stuffs that look very delicate and exquisite but at the same time it doesn't lose its meaning because you can actually DIY to cuztomise your own stuffs ;) In the end, we didn't get anything but we did get a couple of photos. I'll just post the funniest.
After our stop at Materials, we went to Borders. I actually saw a book that I'm very much interested in. It's a book about Tamara Mellon. Owwhh.. I'd LOVE to buy it (if any one of you is courteous enough to buy this book for me I wouldn't have rejected your kindness xD) if I was not feeling guilty to have committed a crime called - overspending .__. So, in the end, I didn't get that bloody book :'(
I felt that Khalid and I should get something together since we've not met with each others for ages. So.. Our next stop was - Memory Lane! :D :D
I seldom go to Memory Lane cuz the merchandise there are just way too expensive >< Anyways, we had decided to try our luck there to see if we could get something.
